How It Works
The process we follow during your website project
1. Choose Your Website Package
2. Select Your Support Package
Choose your ongoing Support Package so you can budget for help with your site if necessary.
Take into consideration whether you have the skills and time to manage your website fully.
3. Choose Your Design Option
Decide which of the Design Options will suit your organisation best. Remember that whichever one you choose it will be customised to match your logo, branding and colour scheme.
4. Complete The Website Design Project Signup Form
You then need to complete the Project Sign Up form to get the ball rolling. Once I receive the completed form I will send you an invoice for 50% of the Website Package price.
5. Pay Your Deposit
Your deposit invoice is payable immediately. Once payment is received I will issue your contract for approval.
6. Sign The Contract
Every website client receives a contract from me that sets out what is expected from both parties during the project and beyond.
I will email it to you as a draft for approval first. Once approved we both will need to sign paper copies. I cannot begin work on your project until this is done.
7. Set Up Your New Email Address
If you have a new domain and new email address(es) I will send you the account details so you can set this up and begin to use it.
8. Join Our Online Project Collaboration Area
I will then set up an online working area where we can collaborate, communicate, complete tasks and store documents. You will receive an email inviting you to join. You need to set up your account, using your new email address if applicable, and create your own secure password for this area.
9. Supply Your Content And Images
Unless I am creating your content, you will soon need to supply the content and images that I ask for. From experience this is where the project tends to stall, so if you have not got the information to hand you need to start gathering it straight away. I will issue you with forms/templates to help you do this.
10. Review Your Test Site
Once the test site is in place I will add your content and task you to review the site thoroughly. If you have purchased any website extras they will be added to the site as well. I then require payment of the balance before your site can be made live.
11. Your Website Goes Live
Once the second installment of 50% is paid I will make your site live. Once again I will task you to review it and look for any errors.
12. Your Support Package Kicks In
Once the site is live your Support Package becomes active. Payments for this will begin when the project is completed or after 2 months, whichever comes sooner.
